Your right to deletion

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and, where applicable, the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This applies both to data you submitted through this website's form and to data belonging to someone who received messages from a business using our WhatsApp automation service.

What to send

Send a request identifying who you are (your name and the phone number or email the contact was made through) and stating that you want your data deleted. If the request concerns messages received from a specific business, also name that business, to help us locate the data faster.

What happens next

We confirm receipt of the request and locate the data relating to you. When the request concerns a business that uses our service, we may also need to confirm the request with that business, since it decides what is sent to its own customers. Once confirmed, identifiable data is deleted or anonymized.

Timeframe

Requests handled directly by us are processed within a reasonable operational timeframe. We do not promise a fixed deadline, but we handle each request as soon as reasonably practicable.

A note about backups

If your data was already included in a backup made before your request, the deletion request is recorded and is reapplied if that backup is ever restored.
